  Made mistakes on my taxes that ended up costing me $4000!

  I had been doing the taxes for my business for years using one of the do it yourself tax software programs you can purchase at one of the big box retailers because I never really trusted someone else to do it for me. Year after Year I had to fight the frustration of having to call customer service because of whatever new software bug had developed. So this year I decided that I was going to find some to relieve the headache and stress of doing it myself. So I checked the Google and I found Townsley and Associates they were close and I thought I would give them a shot. I am Soooo glad that I made the decision to not do my own taxes this year. Lea mason and her staff made it such and easy process and were able to find deductions that I had been missing for years. I am so glad that I chose to use them. I have to say that I will never go anywhere else for tax help again.

  Working with Todd was great!, however he sold the business to Lea, CPA First we called to drop off our taxes but could never get a call back, so I dropped by the office to make sure they had not gone out of business (feb 2013), what do you know they are there, but not answering the phone, she happened to have time for me to drop off my information (BIG MISTAKE) she said the Todd was working more with investments now (implying that he was still owner/active in the business) We found out later that he has sold to her, sorry Todd, your name is being tarnished! anyway...after calling every week past the 2 week estimate given originally, we finally were able to pick up our taxes on March 27th, plenty of time to file electronically for the CPA, however we did not hear from IRS or anyone for that matter, (calling office repeatedly you only get an nice receptionist that will leave a message for CPA, but never actually get a call back) My husband then took a day off from work to "stop by" and inquire since no word on our return after May 15th!!! After leaving a message with the receptionist again, we got an email from the cpa, there was a glitch with their e-filer, (am I supposed to believe this given the previous blow offs?) what do you know once she actually filed the taxes we got back our refund......DO NOT use this agency!!! since we were to receive our refund, the IRS did not care but holy moly, I expect a CPA to file your taxes and then if you raise a red flag over and over again, maybe you would actually check on it! I wanted to file a complaint but not sure who to do that with!

  This Tax Firm was AWESOME! They spent a lot of time making sure that everything was done right. They gave special attetion in finding all the tax breaks that go with being a disabled veteran. I highly recommend them.
