- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Do not count on them for anything. All they care about is getting off the phone with you when you try and call them in. I got ran off the road and almost pushed into the median. I called in and tried to talk to dispatch do not count on them for anything. All they care about is getting off the phone with you when you're trying to report an emergency. I call them because I was ran off the road by a car. Obviously drunk! Went from the far right all the way to the far left lane almost at the center median and then came back to me and almost hit me. I call Dan and within 12 seconds The dispatch disconnected the phone. What's it take for them to actually care? Somebody dying? I didn't turn on my scanner to listen. I know that my area is one Charlie, I listen to it in the dispatcher said all one Charlie cars And then said never mind disregard. So they didn't even care.
