- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆I called Mr. Baker to set up a tax consultation appointment, to help plan for my next year's taxes. He was incredibly rude to me on the phone - after I explained what I needed, he scoffed and said "I can't help you, you'll need to call back after tax season." He made a brief apology for being rude, and then I could hardly even get out an "ok" before he hung up on me. Listen, I get it - tax season is a busy time for a CPA. We're all human and we get stressed. However, in my mind that is no excuse to be so dismissive toward a potential client. Hire an assistant to answer phones, offer to take my name and number, or at least just don't be so condescending in your tone. In the 20 seconds I was on the phone with him he left a horrible impression. Given this terrible first interaction I will never use Baker CPA.By Krista Deibert, January 30, 2017
